Hello everyone! My name is Derrick Shaw. I am a writer currently working on making my aspirations of being a published author a reality. I and a Young Adult author primarily, but I also dabble in other areas such as action/adventure and sci-fi.
When I'm not writing, I am an educator, working in a charter school in Brooklyn, NY, as well as currently working on finishing my BA and awaiting grad school decisions. I also love music, dancing, drawing, and cooking!
