My name is Tamika, and I will admit that I am not a professional writer. To be honest, I have no plans to pursue a career in writing. I have a lot of people in my life who are in my life but aren't really in my life, so I feel like I'm talking to myself when I talk to them. And that's why I write: it's a means for me to escape reality without resorting to narcotics. I feel like the character I'm writing about when I write, and that's why I write: It allows me to escape from the horror I'm in and keeps me from overthinking.
