@Ani-mix_Juiceecactus they like reading but not as much as I do and they just don’t take suggestions. Lately I’ve been in a reading slump so do you have any suggestions or recommendations?

@Tealgirl1 Waut, really?! That's crazy! I guess your friends aren't much of readers, are they? And I mean, normally I'm not, but lately I've just been bored and have no idea what else to do!

@That_dam_swifty yeah my mom came into my room and we had an hour long discussion about that topic and I kinda told her some of this. It’s weird how it played out.

@Tealgirl1 wow that sucks. I know there are some people who are religious and they aren't homophobic and I really appreciate it honestly. It's hard having to tell your parents things like that and coming out and stuff. Me personally, I feel like I have an easier job when I eventually tell my parents I'm aroace because 1. My sister is gay and they support her and 2. it's not a super weird thing like a lot of people live on their own. The only problem is that they'll probably deny it cuz I've kind of told them and my sister and they were just like "okay, we'll check back later". But yeah, your situation isn't fun but everyone gets to have their own opinions about these things! and doing the pride thing sounds perfect lol!

@That_dam_swifty my family is super religious too. They wouldn’t say they are homophobic but they thing homosexuality is a sin and that those people will go to hell. I support homosexuality heck I get happy when I find a random gay character but I’m also still religious so I’m trying to find a middle ground where I support and accept it but am still religious and oh my gosh it’s annoying. I haven’t worked up the courage to tell my parents yet but I learned my 17 year old cousin shares the same beliefs and she told her parents the year before so that was a relief to not be alone. Honestly I won’t ever work up the courage one day when I’m in college I’ll just come home to visit my parents and I’ll be wearing a gay pride button pin and they will probably figure it out that way but I can relate.
            (Sorry for ranting)
