Trust is like an artefact made of glass, it's beautiful while it lasts... but once broken will never be the same.
We desperately try to put the pieces back in place because we crave the warmth that it once brought us.
The loneliness drives us crazy and a feeling of emptiness constantly haunts us.
We put on a fake smile and pretend that everything is alright when the demons in our mind continue to pester us.
They grow day by day and consume us until all that is left is darkness.
We are terrified of what it could mean but when we embrace it, there is nothing more addictive than that.
The pain is like an escape from reality... it helps create an illusion even if it is momentary...
Because in the end, no matter how hard we try to escape it, the darkness is what we crave and we let it consume us because even though its wrong it provides a sense of comfort that no one ever could
