@ThatOnePerson_ig fr though, I guess it depends on the story. But like legacy. The real story began with her father and Ingenium. Because that's a big theme of the book. So that's why the prologue started with that. Then immediately after in the first chapter it started with the next beginning. Which was how she got into UA. A lot of people will tell you that you need some huge beginning to catch your readers attention. But In my opinion that's not always necessary. Setting up some sort of intrigue is, but it doesn't have to be a huge one. Just enough to make them want to read just a little more
