Hey all! Just a quick update on the Revoked Legacy story. The next chapter may or may not be delayed. College is really sucking the life out of me and I haven't had the time to sit down and write. But worry not, there's already a draft for the next part, I just need to complete it.

What's up f**kers! (Jk lol)
          
          Hey all! I'm feeling inspired to write another story today... *Ehem* fanfic *ehem* 
          
          So I recently played Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. It was so amazing! One of the best games I've played so far. That and I'm a long time R&C fan dating back to the PS3 and PSP era. I have obsessed over the game before and with Rift Apart it has rekindled that flame inside me. 
          
          Anyway. Rift Apart has a bunch of new characters, one of those characters is a Lombax like Ratchet. Her name is Rivet and it is "supposedly" the dimensional counterpart of Ratchet, or his gender bent alternate universe self. But the lore within the game states that the Lombaxes are scattered across dimensions. This kinda goes against what the game implies but I don't care. 
          
          The fandom has been shipping Ratchet and Rivet and it's literally the best thing that ever happened to Ratchet (and the community) since he has not met another Lombax let alone a female one. (That is if you don't count A Crack In Time or Going Commando) Personally, I'm happy for Rivet to exist, not only is she cute AF I'm also happy because Ratchet has a potential wifey lmao. For real, I'm happy for Ratchet to finally meet someone like him, a Lombax.
          
          The book production is undergoing as of writing this. The first chapter should be out in a couple days. If I get a large dose of inspiration it might be earlier. It will also have a similar formula of the Ratchet and Clank games with comedy in between the story.

@BrainDeadAuthor I agree the game has stunning visuals and a very movie-like structure. It's honestly one of the best games that I've played. Comedy was just right, the dramatic scenes, and the deep but subtle tones. I love it.
            
            About the "Ratchet and Clank" formula in the description, I meant that I would have to follow the story structure of R&C, which is a balance of good storytelling and comedy. I'm trying to aim for a story that's both fun and exciting to read. Also, it's fine if you don't have prior knowledge of the previous R&C games' story. I want it to be only a follow up to Rift Apart. I'll probably put cameos of other characters from previous games somewhere in the story but they won't be major.

            I wanna ask, cuz I just read the description and you will follow the formula of the ratchet and clank games. whats that? Rift apart is my first game so idk what happened before it

@BrainDeadAuthor I played it on PC. Nixxes has done a great job with the port, despite the occasional bugs and stutters. Regardless, it was mostly a smooth ride for me.

@BrainDeadAuthor I've already said that I don't know what to do about TBG. Although your second idea is interesting, I don't wanna soil its legacy. If I wanted to write something about it, I would like it to at least make it in the way it doesn't make "The Last Wish" look bad. 
            
            PIB:TLW is a masterclass of storytelling and I don't wanna try to imitate what it did, nor do I wanna make it look bad by making a subpar or worse fanfic written by a bedroom writer.
            
            Although, looking at its good side, it's a very intriguing idea and quite literally an open canvas. 
            
            ...
            
            I'll come back to it at some point... that is if I make something that's passable.

            Looking back at your previous book you focused on the more under developed characters
            
            You could focus on The Bad Guys like the other guy said, personally Diane needs more development IDK. You could do an origin story or something with her and Wolf.
            
            Puss in boots 2 could also be a candidate. Idk if you havent seen it but its amazing
            Im seeing alot of people getting on that. Minor spoilers; theres perrito the little dog, a very oddly optimistic one too. You could do a origin story too. Theres also death the wolf, the guy tumblr's talkin about lately. We dont know that mucha bout him other than hes death (literally) other peoples headcannons about him look
            
             interesting, give that a try

I know I said I'm back in writing, I am but a really HUGE like fucking huge thing just happened over at our school, it's stressing the shit out of me.
