          	SAOR UPDATE:

          	Hey gamers,

I’m not dead! Listen, I know I’ve been practically dead and not posting new stuff or even updating the SAOR series but I promise that I’ve been working on the series, it’s just I’ve been a lot busy with school, especially (for those familiar with the *sarcasm tone incoming* amazing US school system) when I signed up for an AP Class to get some classes done before college, I had less time to focus on the fanfic. That doesn’t mean I gave up on it, I still am motivated to keep this fanfic up and completing it. I hope you continue to support the series and thanks a lot for reading my works (even those who bother to open the older ones)

The current part released is split into 2 parts, I’m almost done with the the second half and probably publish it around next week. Chapter publishing will be very slow but note that I haven’t stopped the series.

I have also planned to make better versions of the older books (specifically volumes 1-2) with more development in the characters and the story. So I might delete 1/2 and have to revise some of it and create some better version of it. I felt those volumes specifically were really rushed and I didn’t give enough time for development and interactions with the characters. Some characters also came as unnecessary so I’d have to replace or completely take them off who knows but more on that later.

I hope everyone is doing great during this time of COVID and wear your masks gamers.

SAOR UPDATE:

This announcement will be kinda important moving forward. While yes, majority of it is going to be SAOR related, this will be also about other fanfics/original works I’ll be creating in the nearby future.

School for me is starting soon, two days from now as of writing this. Unlike my first year in High School, I took higher level courses this year. This means I’ll be preoccupied with studies, playing games (quite possibly streaming) and writing stories. I love writing the SAOR series and I can’t thank you all enough for supporting it despite how it’s basically non existent on wattpad for most part (the algorithm in Wattpad is skewed and all).

This means, going forward, chapters will take longe to write. But I won’t say they will take months to write, say like SAO Abridged by Something Witty Entertainment, I won’t take THAT long. But yes, chapters will take longer time to write with everything happening in my life. I will continue to pour my heart into this series, writing it has always been fun and wild.

As for Gypsophila, this is a short book. While the chapters are longer than usual, there are only 6-7 stories in line for this. Each chapter I’m writing for this is on average 5000/6000 words. It can go higher as well. But once I go back to writing the final book of the series, Subverting, each NOVEL chapter averages 2000-3000 words.

As for future works after SAO, I am currently working as well on a Persona “6” fanfic. Same as SAOR, I’m taking the world of Persona then adding on to or building more for it. I also have some possible original works but as of now I can’t confirm anything.

Thank you guys for reading my works and I hope I get to write a lot even with my workload in school.

The SAO side stories will probably come out sometime this week with the first two (or one) side stories with them.

Title name is Sword Art Online Gypsophila

Gypsophila coming from the scientific name of the flower Baby’s Breath.

(SAOR SERIES UPDATE)

I know I haven’t been active on the platform lately. And I know I don’t have a good excuse for it; unmotivated or just plainly don’t know what to write. I have thoughts in my head that feel like they could work but when I incorporate them into the story, it feels like being shoehorned than natural.

SAOR series has definitely been really one of my favorite stories to write so far compare to any of the stories I have written in the past. But I think the story might be rush if I were to make another time skip. If I were to go on and do this book as my last in the series, then I don’t think I’m doing justice to my OCs like Atsuo and Raito, especially Yuuki. I feel like I didn’t give them time to develop as charactes or time to really feel like characters in the story.

So instead of the third book being the final one, the third will be like a collection of short stories in between the “timeskip” and some events that take place before true events of the actual series. Then most likely the fourth book will be the final or first of the final.

Uprising as some may have notice doesn’t have a chapter 9. I deleted the chapter by accident but I plan on rewriting it anyway.

I’m not sure when I’ll have the third book ready as I have plans in writing on an original story but when I do, it’ll most likely coincide in terms of chapter updates.

I really want to thank all who have been reading the series and those who found some delight or enjoyment in reading the series. I’m open to criticism and respect any of what you guys disagree/agree with in my stories. I want to tell you all I won’t be stopping to write stories anytime soon. Thanks and be safe out there gamers.

Yeah basically this is what I had in mind like SAO (Aincrad) volume 2 and SAO Early and Late Volume 8

It’s fine, if you’re unmotivated then don’t push yourself, ideas and motivation will come one day or another

Also I feel like instead of making volume three the collection of short stories you should make a side story book and put those in it

            So it will be like

            Volume one
            Volume two
            Side stories
            Volume three

SAOR Fact:

Raito’s favorite food is udon (specifically curry udon) as it was the first time she shared a meal with someone.

Asugaya’s favorite food is literally anything his mother cooks. He had tried to imitate her cooking style only to fail miserably. Him and Raito nealy burned down Asuna’s cabin for not having a high enough cooking skill to recreate Ragout Rabbit Stew.

Chapter 20 out now.

Huge Announcement for SAOR: We’re closing in on the finale for book two. Again I just want to say thank you to everyone reading what I have to write. You guys are floor gang to me.

SAOR chapters normally were every other day, well I can’t do that anymore as of my class finals rolling in. I had a short break because I had no idea on what to write. So from now on, SAOR series’ chapters will come by once a week.

Another announcement is that I am currently working on an original story and hope you guys would check it out once I publish first chapter. It’s an Isekai too and revolves around Edo Japan and Shinigamis if you’re into that stuff so look out for that soon. If this story works out, most likely, it’ll be sharing publishing chapter schedules with SAOR.

Now will you excuse me I have to go to bed to catch up on sleep and hug best girl Asuna plush doll.

I’m really sorry about this guys, my health teacher decided to hit us with a last minute assignment due in a few hours. I’ll try my best to post the chapter today, if not tomorrow. I’ve been crammed with a crap ton of things to do for class. I do apologize and hope you guys are staying safe.
