The nights when he disappears. 
The days when he wouldn't speak to me. 
The weeks when he wouldn't call me. 
Finally you've had enough you follow him, 
Only to wish you hadn't. 
You feel the tears coming, you let them fall. 
In his arms is your best friend. 
You convince yourself that their a good reason 
Behind it. 
No. 
His cheating on you. 
With your best friend. 
Their laughing together like you use to with him. 
Their smiling together like you use to with him. 
You finally can't take anymore. 
You reveal yourself to them. 
They look at you in shock. 
They try to explain but you tell them. 
I hope you to fine peace together. I wish the best 
Of luck. 
And with that you walk away. 
Leaving all you tears and regrets behind. 
And people ask you if your ok. 
You just fake a smile a say yes. 
Eventually the smile is no longer fake. 
And you are ok.

As years and years go by. 
You meet a man and marry him. 
Eventually having kids. 
Before you know it's your high school reunion. 
You get their and you see your ex-boyfriend. 
And your ex-bestfriend. 
Sitting together having the time of their lives. 
You say hi. 
They say hi and try to apologize. 
But you wave off the apologia. 
And once again say. 
I hope you to fine peace and I wish the best. 
Of luck. 
You leave with your man by your side. 
And with your held up high.

When people hear your story they. 
Ask how did you mange to stay. 
Strong. 

You say to them. 
I didn't. 
Every night I cried myself to sleep. 
What you saw was the show. 
Not what was going on. 
Back stage. 
They all look at you in shock. 
Like so many have.
