The Ozark Howler

Born and bred in the Ozarks, I have made the study of the legends and lore of rural Arkansas and Missouri my quest in life. There's a lot to be learned simply by talking to people, rather than just searching for what people say online. I have a special affection for the light and dark opposites of Ozark mythology - the Snawfus, a flying white stag with flowering antlers, and the Ozark Howler, a dark carnivorous beast with sharp horns, glowing red eyes, and dark shaggy fur.
