I have a bit to say so I hope you can hear me out cus it's going to be a struggle for me to convey properly. Waning from 'The Nothing.' It's a story that started off as a small idea that came to me like a headshot at the back of the head. The concept excited me, the premise was perfectly built and set up. I started working on it once everything was set and done with my other works. But then things fell apart. I was suddenly feeling burnt out. The story started getting delayed day and day after. Ame's graduation was announced. Then Fauna's graduation came....then Mumei's..then Gura's. What started as a story I loved writing became something that I just wrote to fill a void, to occupy myself. I stopped enjoying what I wrote. In the end. I don't like this story. It's like taking months to build a house, at the end you don't feel happy because you ended up making a tower. The story didn't take the direction I wanted it to and my ideas for it began to wither. I just can't bring myself to enjoy working on it and after discussing it with so many good friends, if I don't enjoy doing something, I shouldn't. The fear that stopped me from doing so was everyone who liked the story and read it through and through. But I know what I want to do if I want to reignite the fire I had when working on these stories. Waning from The Nothing will take an indefinite Haitus. When I plan on coming back to it, I might just revamp the story. But for now I want to bring a stop to it before completing something I'm not happy with.

@bigdan1 it's a surreal feeling to find out someone who's work you've admired ever since you've seen it happens to be a long time viewer. It means way more than you can imagine to me that you've been reading my stuff for so long already! I've known for a while that I can only give it my best when I do something I enjoy, that's why most of my completed stories go beyond 20 chapters. It's just that too much happened between writing Waning from The Nothing that by now it has battle scars of what's happened in between. Still! I'll keep looking ahead, refresh myself and write on. I'm always grateful to see and read everyone's thoughts and opinions on what I create. Honestly I'd love to speak to you more about it! Your work is phenomenal even when it's just one book. We have a community of authors over on discord if you're ever interested on interacting with other writers!

Take your time, don't push yourself. Having a drive and passion for a project is the most important thing for a creator, so if you feel like don't like the direction of where the story is going, don't force yourself to write it for our sake. You should keep the original book up, but create separate one of you wish to revamp the entire story. In the end, your mental well being is the most important thing. My opinion? I'm sad that the story in on a indefinite hiatus, however I completely understand the need to take breaks. So please dont push yourself and take a break. I'll literally enjoy any stories you write man. You're one of the inspiration to start writing and have the courage to post my stories. In matter fact, I've been reading your stories when I was new to wattpad years back, I only started publishing not too long ago after seeing the passionate community. So please take care man! Take your time, it's alright!

@ThePotat420 If you don't feel like writing it, don't. You're human, just like your stories' readers. Take some time off if you need to.
