Some do drugs, others go for a run but at the end we're all just searching for that tiny space, perhaps a hole, that gives us a shelter from the terrible reality of the world.

I'm scared to get close, I hate being alone. I long for that feeling, to not feel at all. The higher I get, the lower I sink. I can't drown my demons, they know how to swim.

Trust me, I know how it feels. I know exactly how it feels to cry in the shower so no one can hear you, and waiting for everyone to fall asleep so you can fall apart, for everything to hurt so bad you just want it all to end. Being awake at 4am, crying your eyeballs out. Cutting your wrist, so you can just let your scream out. And even embracing the loneliness no one else but you alone feel.

The dark is my friend. He was there when no one else was. He was was the one who spoke to me. And now that darkness is kept inside me, to never get out.

The time is here, the end is near, the loneliness I always fear presents itself and like a giant wave it crashes into me without warning. Washing me into the dark and lonely existence I always knew was coming.
