I'm facing the same problem. The banner disappeared today — without me making any edits — and the em-dashes in one of my chapters were replaced by hyphens without any explanation. How can this be solved?

2. Can I change my bio and description of my account?

Hi! Am I allowed to edit my story while it's in the evaluation stage — like fixing spelling and grammar, or adding short dialogues (only if necessary) to make the scenes clearer? Or is it no longer allowed to make any changes?

@Azka3l_ - no, please do not edit once you have submitted, as even minor edits may render your story ineligible

@favcountrywriting - you won't see it now, as the submissions period is now over, so no more submissions are being accepted at this point in time.

My book BLOOD CALLS BLOOD is complete. However, no Watty Awards confirmation was received. But, with tomorrow being the deadline, I might not get in this year. Such a shame too.

@TheOrangutan thanks for responding. My story is marked complete. Also, long before finishing I made sure to read the requirements. So it is definitely a Wattpad issue. Oh, well! Maybe next year. I'll decide on my next move before the year ends.

@QiZareen9 - you will only get a confirmation if you've marked your story complete - https://support.wattpad.com/hc/en-us/articles/201376684-Marking-your-story-as-complete - and your story aligns with all of the Eligibility criteria listed in the Eligibility chapter in the Wattys 2025 'story' on this profile. In that information is also a chapter on How to Submit and Details where you find the submissions form. That's on the Story Details page. For Story Details - on web, go to My Works - https://www.wattpad.com/myworks - click the title of the story you want to submit. It'll take you to the Table of Contents for that story. Immediately left of where it says Table of Contents you can find the Story Details page. - on web - another way to do it is to go to the story you want to enter, then hit the down arrow next to your story title at the top left of the screen. You should then see all your chapters listed. Above that is a link to your story, immediately below which it says 'table of contents'. Hit that link and it'll take you to your Table of Contents screen. On that screen, immediately left of where it says Table of Contents, you'll see it says Story Details. Hit that.

First, make sure the story is 50,000 words or more and that it’s complete. And that your birthdate is added in the app.
Second, go to the bottom right and tap the pencil icon, then click on the story you want. You’ll find the form at the top.
