For anyone who's been following me for a while: I appreciate you sticking with me all these years even though I've been totally MIA. Logging back on reminded me of when I was really active on here and it made me long to have these friendships and this community again. A lil update about me: -I moved back to the USA from Scotland a few years ago. I moved to NJ but I'm going to TN soon. I'm excited! But I'll miss my friends. I'm not lonely or an outcast like I was in high school, I'm actually quite popular now! I have a couple good groups of friends, and someone I like who likes me back (not dating for logistical reasons rn, tragic) -After high school I went to community college. It's a different concept in the US than in the UK. It's actually a pretty smart way to get a good education with your gen ed courses costing way less. I was really active in Student Gov, the newspaper, Anime club, and Astronomy club. I consider my college a friend, like how sci-fi characters consider their spaceship a friend LOL -After getting my Associate's, I took a gap year to figure things out. I recently got accepted into a really great coding bootcamp. I was going the self-taught route because I hated most bootcamps, but this one is amazing. It's women+NB only, free + free laptops, and they really care about and nurture students. It was a long application process but I'm so happy I got in! I chose a mentor last week, really cool CTO of a startup. Met with him today and he likes to ramble about computer history. I feel really lucky to be in this program! -Hmm, what else. I want to be a software engineer, but eventually an entrepreneur. I'd love to build a company around a software product. I have so many ideas! I also have many ideas for books, one in particular that's been rattling around the noggin for a year or so Thanks again to the people keeping up with me. It's been so nice to log back on :)

OMG! I forgor: my current job is a choir director. I teach little kids at a church and teens/young adults at a Korean missionary school. I started a few years ago and I love challenging them and myself in class. I also help out at the school by teaching English conversation classes, editing their essays/resumes, and taking them out for a spin on campus or the local burger place with my sunroof open
