In the mid-eighties I started writing, and have been doing it off and on until the beginning of the new century. It wasn't until I published my first book in 2007 (or was it 2008?) with The Wild Rose Press when I started calling myself a romance writer. Right now I've published over fifteen romances for five different publishers. Sadly two of them closed up, reverting back to me four of my books. And then the contract ended for the first book in a series with another publisher, so I decided to pull the whole series with them. I'm currently rewriting them to fit one of the Harlequin lines. (One of my dream publishers.)
While all this was going on, I got married way back in 1982. We weren't blessed with any children so we decided to get cats instead. We had five of them in our marriage, currently we have a black cat named Frankie. (He's a sweetie but he likes to bite.) Like all couples we've been through both good and bad times, sad and joyful, yet we're still together. (Don't ask me how!)
My husband and I also got an RV in 2005 and started living and working out of it in 2006. I enjoyed the traveling, getting to see others parts of the country and working in campgrounds, yet it didn't work out for us. We had to give it up. We lived in Georgia for a few years until we decided to move back to our birth state of Ohio three years ago. I'm still debating on whether that's a good or bad thing.
Right now I have about eight unfinished manuscript sitting on my hard drive. I'm desperately trying to finish one of them.
