Colors of white and gray fill your eyes. The forest around you seemed to be I'm a deep slumber. Silence and quiet, waiting for something to wake it up. The cold nips at your feet and fingertips. Your breath seemed to paint soft clouds of white as you moved through the thick snow. All your ears can hear are the soft noises of your feet plunging into the snow, the trees that blow in the wind, and your labored breath.

This place was empty except for one small thing. A small brown cabin sticking out in the white snow.

The roof tiles are covered in a thick lair of snow along with the brick path that led straight to the oak door. Before you knew it, you were standing right in front of the door. The intricate carvings on the wooden old door seem to depict the killing and gutting of a white deer.

The colors that were once vibrant on the door are now washed out with age. That didn't matter though. What mattered was the cold. You looked over the door, now settling on the golden door knob. This tiny golden sphere was the only thing keeping you from the seemingly warm and soft inside.

Now that you weren't moving you could feel the dropping temperature settle in your bones. Your blood starts to slow and your eyelashes become heavy with the weight of snow gathered there.
