Life was never the same after that. And my father, oh... How much I loathed him... H-Hes dead now, of course. Mother... Sweet, sweet mother... Always l-looking out for Lyra and I. 

I have a wh-whole bunch of disorders. Tourettes, stuff like th-that. But my favorite... Is the one that makes me completely numb to pain... Too bad it doesn't work for a broken heart...
