I have recently fallen head over heels in love Robert Carlyle (but prefer him with floof!)

Beauty and the Beast and Rumpelstiltksin were my favourite fairy tales as a child so I was sort of born to be a Rumbeller really!

I do try to keep to canon in characterisation but I realise with SS/HG that is going to be difficult so I just give them a little spice. After all, he is cardamom and she is cinnamon. That makes a delicious curry!
