Hi, My name is Francesca and I write a blog called Treadmill Treats. I write this blog every morning, 5 days a week, at 5:30 am on the treadmill, hence the name. I am a single mom of two girls 19 and 22, both who are the light in my life and are amazing young women. I started this blog seven years ago as I was going through one of the worst times in my life. I had lost my dad and my best friend on the same day and two years later my mother. I was stuck in a verbally abusive marriage for 24 years and I hated my life. I realized after my mother died, that life was too short and could end in a second and I wanted to be happy for whatever time I had left. So I started to write this blog about my journey out of hell, I wanted others to know that they were not alone. I have been brutally honest in my blogs, as I lied all through my marriage. I lied about being in love with him, about us being a perfect family when we were a dysfunctional mess and about my whole life and I swore I would never lie again. I always say I am not Willy Wonker, I don't sugar coat shit. I tell it all, the good, the bad and even the really ugly. Like me, hate me but I will keep being me and keep being real, the only thing I know how to be anymore.

I hope you will join me on this crazy journey called life as I can tell you, it's been one crazy-ass ride and there is so much more to do and see. I hope I can inspire you, open your mind up to change and let you know you're not alone in this ride. I appreciate all of you that continue to follow me and for all of you who are just starting to know me, I promise you that what you see is what you get and I will always try to be the best person I can be and to let you know you can too.
