I'm tired of this shit. NONE OF MY STORIES ARE "X READER"!!! I WORK REALLY DAMN HARD ON EVERY OC I PUT INTO MY STORIES AND IT PISSES ME THE HELL OFF TO SEE COMMENTS REFERRING TO MY CHARACTER AS "I" "me", ESPECIALLY WHEN THOSE COMMENTS ARE TELLING ME THEY WOULDN'T DO WHAT MY CHARACTER DID AND THAT I SHOULD CHANGE *MY* GODDESSDAMN STORY!

@Treblemaker48 I'm really late, but 'x readers'/'self inserts' are just so bland. I'd much rather take a well developed OC then an 'x reader'. The point of a story is to view something (whether it be a fictional world or an actual event) the way the author wanted you to view it. Self inserts just cater to people who don't appreciate (or care for) the author's writing.

Announcement to all my readers, something has been happening for a while that makes me quite uncomfortable. Unless the title and/or description explicitly says that a story is 'x reader' then it is not, the characters I put in my stories are my own and not you or anyone else, I work really hard on making these characters the way they are and I don't feel comfortable with the comments saying "Looks like I've got this power" or something similar, my characters are their own person and they are not you. I'm okay with comments such as "Oh, the main character and I are so alike" or "Lol, I do the same thing this character does" but please do not comment as if you are the OC in the story. I'm aware you mean no harm but I get really uncomfortable and unmotivated to continue that story and I would rather make more for others to enjoy instead of suddenly stopping. Thanks for your attention.

I kind of wish you could turn off commenting for a story, I'm always happy to get comments but not ones like "Oh, your character is basically this canon character" I get that repeatedly, I created my character before I even knew who that canon character was, leave me alone!

@Treblemaker48 its fine, I would suggest to just follow the movie and have little twists of your own in it but I've never written a book so I don't know the struggle.

@ULexi2008 I do my best, it just made my day to see this! I love writing and I'm attempting to start writing fanfics without an OC as the main character. Which stories have you read? I'd like to know so I can make sure to pay attention to those!
