Now, imagine this - the universe embodied as a white rabbit, pulled from darkness and into existence out of a magician's hat. Humans, merely tiny insects nestle deep into the rabbit's fur, entirely forgetting about the abyss above and scurrying throughout their whole lives cozied in white hair.
Yet there is also a different sort of human, a curious one who climbs all the way up the top of a strands, clinging to the very top and looking out: a philosopher. They see the hat. They see the magician's hand. Of course, being so small what they see is confusing and hard to discern. But it is still part of the truth, part of creation and what they have discovered enlightens them. The philosopher calls down to the people buried below to join him, to see what he can see... Yet those down below ignore him, scorn him, call him mad and tut at his refusal to join their blinkered world, denying their own enlightenment in favour of comfort.
