Sometimes you gotta take a step back and revaluate how you see everything.
And before I'm given the JFK treatment - I'd like to explain myself, lol. So to get it out of the way and stay blunt, eventually The Serpent King will be going unpublished for period of time due to "dreaded" rewriting.
Why, you certainly are asking?
Well, as the sole creator of this series, to stay truthful -- I am dissatisfied with the current execution of the story so far and believe that it's underdeveloped towards the point at which I wish to take it and ultimately where it should have been by this point. To be funny and give an example, this is the equivalent of reaciving post nut clarity about all the mistakes you made in freshmen year as you finally hit the sophomore stage of your high-school life.
Ultimately I am proud of my work, I just need it to be better.
Now let's address the obvious concerns.
When will the book go unpublished?
Not anytime soon as I plan to publish any new chapters once there are at least a substantial number ready in my eyes. And prior to that, I will give notice ahead of time so you can reread everyhting one last time.
What about any plot changes?
To answer, there will be changes, of course there will be, and some things you think haven't changed will have, as the my decision to do this was made in effort to deliver not the perfect result, but best possible execution for what I thought of a story that has otherwise been held back by its prior mistakes, and not flaws, which are an entirely different matter.

Closing: Anyone upset with this decision I understand, but I'm not personally sorry. It's my book, enough said. I know if the writing isn't up to par.
I won't fail to deliver when I have too many reason to cook.
