I am currently writing a story called Hopelessly Drowning. 

Elizabeth Kennedy has experienced more cruelty and pain in 14 years than most people have in a lifetime. Abandoned by her mother and abused by her stepfather, life has finally decided to give her a break; but does this mean she can finally break free from the bonds that have trapped her for so long, or will the painful memories of her past forever keep her within their unyielding grasp.
