Hey everybody! 
          	
          	I just wanted to join the big handful of Wattpad authors and readers who are taking a moment to recognize what is happening on our world.
          	
          	As most of you know the death of George Floyd certainly did not result in anything good. The looting and protests that are far from peaceful have gotten out of control. 
          	
          	I encourage everyone to sign petitions or donate to an organization. 
          	
          	I hope from the bottom of my heart that everything gets better soon.

Yes, some of the protests are peaceful and I think it’s amazing! Unfortunately some peaceful protesters are being treated unfairly, some getting sent to jail (not permanent) while there were one or two cases of people actually dying from rubber bullets. The peaceful protests however send a positive message which I think is really important!

@TheDogLover1122 That's true but there are still some protests that are peaceful and are aiming for justice not violence.George Floyd's death was a terrible thing that happened and he shouldn't have been treated that way but I do think that the people who are looting and everything are not doing the right thing
