If you're looking for a story such as "Ah! A Werewolf Swiped my V-Card!" or "My Hot English Teacher Taped Me having Sex with All of One Direction," I'm afraid you still have to look further. Unfortunately, there are no vampires, werewolves, zombies, pornographers, kidnappers, or British boy bands in my story (though there is a very detailed naked scene with Harry Styles--just kidding). I just wanted to prepare you for the upcoming disappointment for my story, "How to be a Ten (When You're Really a Six and a Half)," which comes out this Monday, July 15. Just frat boys, catty girls, and a whole lot of awkward. No wolves. No wizards. No Harry Styles.

So here it is for the record: I'm sorry.

Take pity on me and follow/vote/read the start of my novel this Friday. For every vote I get, one character will morph into a vampire and/or have an affair with somebody middle-aged. Maybe.

Vivian Clare is a college student at a university in the US.

At a young age, her parents decided she talked too much and really wanted her to shut up, so they taught her to read. It didn't work, but she's loved books ever since.

Her hobbies include acting, pretending to work out at the gym, trying to find things in her purse, and making up excuses to her parents why her debit card history only lists Starbucks and Pinkberry.

Vivian is notoriously single, but that's just because men are intimidated by her great personality and charm and think her jokes are too funny.

Also, whoever stole her black denim jeans from the laundry room is a dead man. And she's pretty sure she left a butter packet she was smuggling from the cafeteria in her pocket, so joke's on you.
