The Tales of Catherine Edridge
The human race is rapidly declining in numbers as a science experiment goes wrong. A century after the crisis the problem is still not solved, leaving only one woman in each society, the queen. Queens are trading men like playing cards for the chance of having a daughter instead of the countless sons. Catherine Edridge is one of the few queens left on the earth, and desperately trying to find a way out of living the life she was born into. While trying to find a way out of her duties to her people as well as trying to find a cure, she's met with many decisions along the way.
