❝When life gives you demons, you write about them.❞

When I first started writing, I didn't know where I was going with it or what I was even writing about. Insecurities overburdened my life and every step I took was shadowed by the fear of failure. I was scared of my own REFLECTION.

I didn't know who I was. I didn't have an identity. I blended in with my surroundings and gave people the version of me that they wanted to see. I was a CHAMELEON. 

I didn't even think anything of my ideas. They were random, over thought and indescribable. I thought they were BETTER LEFT UNSAID. 

But then, as I went about my way, writing about my days, I grew more confident. It helped me gain my self worth and lose my insecurities. I was UNTETHERED.

Pen hit the paper and my heart, mind and soul were slowly getting put down in words. I'd found worth in my whirlwind of PAROXYSMs. I finally knew what I wanted to do with my life. 
That was when I uttered my first WHISPER OF SILENCE. 

I blossomed, I grew. I became stronger. I bloomed like a MAGNOLIA.

There are good days and bad, positive moods and negative, EBONY and IVORY. But you've got to push through it all to get the best of experiences. After all, emotional turmoil is a poet's muse.

MIRROR, MIRROR on the wall, I'll always get up after I fall, because now, I'm ready. To face the world. To give all that I've got. To stand tall and face it all. To show you who I really am. 
It's time to be CANDID.

There are always going to be bumps in the road. There are always going to be haters, liars and cheats. 
And so what if I'm a little crazy? 
ALL THE BEST PEOPLE ARE.
