So I just found out something really interesting today in history and I thought I would share:
          	
          	Apparently, in the olden days when Alice in wonderland was set/written, hatters (people who make hats) would often go mad because of the fabric they used to make their hats. That's where Lewis Carol got "the mad hatter" from and my mind is blown

@TheWhovianHalfBlood I know it's absolutely mental and I never would have thought that that was the reason for the mad hatter I'm still so shocked from it lmao

@WingardiumLeviHoeSas It's so interesting, isn't it? Back then all sorts of toxic chemicals were in the dyes, often green fabric and paints had lead in it, and these things weren't know at the time.
