Hi, I don't want to offend you or anything but I'm a little confused. My mother tongue is German so I don't know much about English but don't you use they or their only when there are several people or the gender of a person is not certain? So for example -it is his apple- -they all shared the apple-. Sorry if I just don't understand it hehe
