The girl you just called fat? She is over dosing on diet pills. The girl you just called ugly? She spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her. The boy you just tripped? He is abused enough at home. See that man with the ugly scars? He fought for his country. That guy you just made fun of for crying? His mother is dying. 

Forget, sounds good
Forgive, I'm not sure  I could
They say time heals everything
But I'm still waiting.

THERAPIST: You told me you don't let people in, now why is that?
If you don't let people in they can't hurt you.
THERAPIST: But they can't love you either.
Isn't that the same thing?
THERAPIST: By running from people, by pushing them away, aren't you just hurting them and doing what you're afraid will happen to you?
I happened. I loved him and he still ran, he still left and I never want that to happen again. People can't leave me if I leave them first. There is no cure. These sessions have taught me such. I'll always be like this and I'm starting to accept that. I just need someone who accepts that abot me.
THERAPIST: And have you?
I think so.
THERAPIST: Are you scared you might run?
I'm always scared of that.
