Dear Reader,
I write because I love to do it. I write because when nothing else helps my mood improve (not even ice cream) I can write out some characters arduous, adventuresome, and sometimes tragic journey onto paper. I can relish in their successes and frown at their failures, reward good deeds or let bad go unpunished. I can mar their victories with misfortune, or rescue them from the pit of despair with a single, small, glimmering miracle. Their life is in my hands. The best part? No one ever gets hurt. Except, of course, the fictional characters.
