What is the connection between a hero and a martyr? The answer is one can be become the other. A hero may sacrifice himself/herself for the greater good or for a loved one in the process they become a martyr dying for they believed in. On the other side a martyr can become a hero in the eyes of citizens whether it be by actions they did during life or what they sacrificed themselves for in death. At the end of the day a hero and a martyr are merely two sides of the same coin this goes out as a tribute to all who have given their lives so that we may live happily thank you for your sacrifice and may you all be at peace in the afterlife
