On April 15th, Wattpad will be purging many stories and when I mean many, I mean MANY. They’re deleting stories that have lemons involving characters that are under 18, and including any other stories that have other sexual content such as images. What many don’t know is that they will also be deleting stories that include violence that is deemed “too” graphic/violent. Many authors have resorted to backing up their stories and full on moved apps/websites. I implore you to follow along and take these precautions, back up your stories, maybe on a Google Doc for example, and maybe even look into other fanfiction apps/sites. I’m sure there are other people who love your stories (me included) and would hate to see them and all of your hardwork be deleted. @ Somnussenior I can't speak for others since I'm not in their position, but even then I'm not entirely sure Wattpad would just erase an account for no particular reason. I've seen stories here that add certain... "topics" that could go against the rules. Or maybe they got reported for toxicity in some capacity. Again, I'm speaking from ignorance, I have no idea what could've happened nor if it's true to begin with.
As for the stories, I am going to save them all just in case. I do not think Wattpad would go after me since even if I sometimes talk of questionable things I only imply it and never make it look cool in any way. I barely interact with other authors, only when they comment something and I've never been disrespectful towards anyone else so I'm sure I'm safe.
Still, I'll be cautious. Thanks for worrying!

@Xhira956 maybe it is, but a lotbof author have had their accounts deleted. Some of them I could keep in contact with said they had no warning nor were told why their accounts were banned. So keep backups if something happens. Thank you for your books.
