Hi, I’ve taken them all down for a bit, unfortunately the completed books just kept getting stolen and place on other apps. It’s why I’ve decided to take a break from Wattpad and just try and finish the remaining books that are still up ❤️

So… I have come to a decision. Over the next few days I will slowly be unpublishing my stories one by one. And I’ve decided to do this because in all honesty I’m sick and tired of my work being constantly stolen and passed off as someone else’s.
And also because I’m burned out and have been for the last few years now. I just find myself lost, I used to love writing, spending hours creating a story and now I’ve just lost of that passion for it.
Which is way for now I’ll be stepping back and kind of trying to find new ideas and my regaining some of the love that I lost for writing along the way. And while I do that, I do not want my stories being stolen which is way they are being removed for the time being. Eventually I will re post them back on Wattpad.
In the meantime I am still going to leave up the following stories below (so I can finish them)

~Trusting Jack
~ Love grows
~ hearts of fire
Over time these are the books that will stay up and will be continued for the time being.

Sorry for bothering you with all of these messages. But I have a dilemma and I could really use some advice.
For the last week I have been informed that 5 different apps have stolen my work and have been charging to read it and making money for it.
Unfortunately this isn’t the first time it’s happened, but it’s gotten to the point where it has damaged my love for writing
Which now brings me to my dilemma! I’m toying with the idea to remove all of my best read completed books. (Love changes, love Remains and all all of the Creek-Harbor series)
Seeing as these are the ones that then stolen all the time. I would leave up my on-going work, (trusting Jack, Love Grows, Hearts on fire) for my loyal readers how have been following the series from the beginning.
That’s is a plan that I am toying with right now, but honestly I’m not sure what else to do that point.
I would really appreciate it if anyone has any advice or suggestions that they can share with me.

Some have gotten back to me that they have removed the book, and I have followed through and double checked that they have. Unfortunately though some still have chosen to ignore my emails on the issue. As of right now this seems like the only thing I can do. ❤️
@XxMiss_SummerxX I so hate hearing this... is there anything you can do legally to to stop them and collect for damages?
@XxMiss_SummerxX Inkitt has an option to where you can post the story on the site or just the app or both. I've posted mine (ones that aren't on here) on the app only. It's a bit harder to steal that way. Also, as long as you mark it incomplete, I've found it's less likely they'll steal it because it takes forever for an update, those reading apps have deadlines, and you only have a certain amount of time to get chapters up. Also, you could fully publish your work yourself. You could look into it. And it wouldn't cost much for people to read it. Amazon Kindle Unlimited is $9.99 a month for all you can read, and there are a lot of books to choose from. Also, if you're more into the pay-by-chapter (not my favorite), you have Amazon Vella. Not sure if this info helps but it helps keep your work safe and unstealable. Well, not on Inkitt unless you put it on their pay-by-chapter app. It's just harder to steal when it's only on the app instead of the site.
