Hello Everyone.
For those who have not noticed by now, I am here to inform you that Signore Lyon, has been deleted/suddenly disappeared.
I have no idea how this has happened, but I am going to every extent to get some answers from Wattpad.
I was finishing up an edit on a chapter I was planning on uploading today when I noticed that there were discrepancies between what was on my laptop and what was on my phone so I logged off of Wattpad's app.
When I logged back in, I deleted a draft I mistakenly made because the app was sticking and playing the fool and when I went to access Signore Lyon to continue my editing process, the chapters were not allowing me to do so. Thus, I logged out once again and logged back in, where I found my story gone.
Nowhere to be found.
This is extremely upsetting because I did not have my story backed up, which I should have. That is entirely my fault. I know that this means that I can not recover my story unless I contact Wattpad Support which I have done.
I am so sorry to all of you who were waiting for a new chapter. I understand your frustration.
I am hoping something comes of this because it means Signore Lyon will be over. I can not conceptualize rewriting a story I have spent 2 years creating. It simply is not possible.
It depends on Wattpad and whether they can retrieve my story as to whether this journey is over.
I have two other stories that I had been starting to write as well and I am very reluctant to even post them on this site at this point.
Unless Signore Lyon is restored, I will have zero trust in Wattpad or their app as it comes to ensuring my work is safe.
Once again, I apologize. This news must be as upsetting for you as it is for me.
I will keep you guys updated.

@obose_e Yes, most deleted books stay in the library if readers until you log out or so. I have had that happen with someone else's story a few years ago. However, as time went on, the chapters were jumbled and eventually, the story disappeared. Can you check the order of the chapters and see if they are still in order? Thank you. I was going to ask this question but didn't want to burden anyone. So happy you pointed it out!!!

@obose_e Editing it mostly. I know the first few chapters are kinda short, so I'm going to make them a bit longer to make them a little more enjoyable
