Growing up in Nigeria, I wasn't the most confident of people. I wasn't popular and I wasn't particularly good at anything. That was until I discovered books. I started with small novels that I borrowed from people around me then went on to badgering my father to buy me books and when he complained about the financial burden of buying me multitudes of books, I asked him to buy me a kindle where I could read books for free on kindle unlimited. The books on kindle unlimited soon became inadequate to satiate my thirst for literature and that was when I discovered Wattpad. I loved Wattpad a lot and I had been on here for years, reading and reading until it finally occurred to me to write a story of my own. Alpha Midika was the first book I ever wrote. I loved it so much that even now after I have stopped writing it and it has been so long, I can't bear to unpublish it. Anyway, I love books. I love to read them and write them and I love to hear people tell me how my books are doing for them, what books did for me. I especially love to inspire young queer girls and women of color so that our stories will continue to be written.
