The OC who is gonna date Kira in my four OCs book
Should she either-
A. date someone else after Kira goes with the skinwalkers (probably in the movie or 6b at the earliest)
B. go with Kira
C. not date anyone else
(the OC will be bisexual if anyone is wondering)
Do you guys like recasts in fanfics? When authors recast original cast members in a fanfic, especially the really problematic cast members?
Because with the Dylan Sprayberry scientology stuff, I’m being reminded about all the other problematic actors from the show. Those being mostly Ian Bohen (Peter), Colton Haynes (Jackson) and Holland Roden (Lydia)
I know there’s some authors who recast them, and I’ve been considering doing it for a while but I wanna make sure people actually like it when that happens.
I haven’t figured out who exactly I’d recast them with, though I heavily favor the idea of Joseph Morgan for Peter Hale. I have a few ideas for Lydia Martin, if people want to keep her a red head and I have some ideas if people don’t care about her staying a redhead.
But if you guys do want me to recast them, let me know. And if you do, do I also recast Liam?
Also, if anyone has any suggestions for Jackson, Lydia (and especially Liam if you guys want him recasted) please send them my way

@_devilishEJ_ I also used Robbie Amell for Jackson. Robbie and Colton are also exactly the same age.
@_devilishEJ_ ik you might already have your mind set with Joseph Morgan(who btw is gorgeous) but David Gandy is someone who I’ve used in the past for Peter and I think looks really similar if your looking for ideas.

Okay, so I don't know when I'll get back to "Infectious Affection". I will finish it at some point but I don't know how long it'll take since I'm having massive writers block and I want to work on something else.
So I think I might just take it down temporarily and re-post it again whenever I'm finally finished with it

@_devilishEJ_ yeah ngl to you after hearing about the Dylan and Julz drama I tend to avoid reading abt news for the TW cast.
@DesharaWilliams8 - Yeah, I barely keep up with most actors cause half of them always come out as bad people but I've gone so long not hearing much or seeing much about Dylan Sprayberry and then the other day I'm finding out that he's married, expecting a baby AND a scientologist

@rose69019 - I don't always wait until I've completed it, sometimes I start posting a book when I'm a few seasons into writing it. But I think I definitely should start waiting until I am actually completely finished it cause lately I've been leaving everyone high and dry mid book because I've been so slow with getting chapters done
How many OCs with love interests is too much for one book?
Okay so for context, the book I mentioned that I've been really wanting to work on right now has 3 OCs.
One dates Derek
One dates Scott
One dates Liam
And I've been working on the book- making plans, getting started on chapters, making all my little photo edits
But lately, I've been REALLY tempted to add a four OC who dates Kira. I tried figuring out a way to make one of the already existing OCs date Kira at some point but with the plans I have it doesn't really fit.
So that's where a fourth OC can come in.
I feel like I can really do it without being overwhelmed. It will never be 4 OCs all at once until the last episode of season 6 and the movie.
Let's number them by story ppearance:
Derek' love interest - OC #1
Scott's love Interest - OC #2
Kira's love intrest - OC #3
Liam's love interest - OC #4
But will basically start with
Season 1&2: Two OCs at a time, OC #1 and OC #2
Season 3/4: Three OCs - OC #3 coming in during season 3a / OC #1 leaving at the end of season 4 with Derek
Season 5/majority of 6: Three OCs - OC #4 coming in in season 5A
But before I fully settle with the idea of 4 OCs, I want to make sure if you guys will like that. I will try my best to not make it seem cluttered or too complicated or overwhelming but if it seems like something that will be too much for you, I will with just 3 OCs
I’ve got 4 OCs in my walking dead fanfic and everyone loves it; I think my biggest problem is remembering my other OCs besides my main one lol. But then I think about how the walking dead separated itself up to follow their characters separately so that’ll help me. But I think if you want it, you should do it. And good luck!!!
