Dude I don’t comment or do anything besides read on the app. However, this DCU fan fiction has me coming out of my silent hermit corner of Wattpad to give my two cents. I’ve been on this app for 8 years, I have read a lot stories. Some being very bad. Your story is a 10 out 10. I’m be real, some OC stories are very similar and almost repetitive. Your story doesn’t feel that way, it stands out in my opinion. I binge read this story in two days. I hope you finish this story, I hope you continue writing, I hope you post more stories. May the Wattpad gods be with you…

my goal is absolutely to finish this story!!! your comment legitimately had my chest go all warm and fuzzy. thank you so, so much. I know firsthand how frustrating it can be trying to find an oc-led fanfic that doesn't give you deja vu, so your comment is basically some of the highest form of flattery I've ever gotten. I hope this last part lives up to your expectations as it comes to an end... and I do have an outline planned for something new when this one is done. hey all, sorry for the radio silence. I had to take a hiatus for my own mental health. all is well now and I'm really going to do my best to hold myself to a close deadline for the next not one, not two, but three chapters. to avoid jinxing myself I'm going to just say it'll hopefully be soon rather than make any attempts at guarantees. I appreciate you guys standing by the story despite how long you've had to wait for another instalment, and I'm really excited to get to these next bits of Jessica's story.

remember when I said ten days? totally unintentional lie. I wrote the chapter and I'm not sure what happened, but I lost the work. that's almost never happened to me before. I'm halfway through the rewritten version (it's honestly a little better in my opinion so I guess it's not the worst thing) and I'm hoping to get it out by the end of this weekend. I'm so sorry for this insanely long wait, it's kept me up at night feeling guilty because I know how much that can suck. But thank you for sticking around and still being excited. Hopefully it lives up to your expectations. :))

when I say "lost the work", btw (since I realize that's maybe weirdly vague), I mean my pages crashed in some truly bizarre way, especially since everything was going very smoothly lol. anyway. see you all soon with an update for good this time!

hey guys! just wanted to post so you know I'm not totally absent - full disclosure, I've been swamped in end-of-semester essays, tests, et cetera, and so I have not yet written much of the next chapter. but please rest assured, in the next week or so I'll be on top of it, because it's coming to an end. I make NO GUARANTEES as per usual, but it would be fair to tell you all to possibly expect the pivotal chapter posted in the next...ten days, maybe. No guarantees! But yes, ten days. 
          Hope you're all taking care of yourselves & doing well, especially in these trying times.
