Never thought it’ll be DMX, but here goes nothing since he’s gone now...when i first heard his music I fell in love, shit I even had a big ass crush on him, but I know what I gotta do to help me keep him in my memories. Every night from now on ima listen to your music before I go to bed, and think to myself and smile, just to be happy of what kind of legacy you left behind. I’m trying not to be a big ass baby right now because this shit hurts me, i swear on everything I never thought he would die. Don’t cry because he is gone, be happy we got to experience him, well when it comes to DMX, fuck that I’m crying my ass off. This shit crazy asf ion even know what to say anymore. I was hoping to wake up to some good shit but nah I woke up to this shit right here, my man DMX is dead, and it sucks to say that but that’s how life goes, and life goes on. As a little girl I listened to Tupac, I would as my father “daddy why did he go?” He told me “when you go to a garden what flowers do you pick?” I answered “the best one” with a big smile, “that’s why he’s gone, god picked the best ones”, I guess I’m just now learning that. Words cannot express how I’m really feeling, I’ve been so numb, but all the pain is coming back now that he’s gone. I can say I listened to DMX, because my father was a big fan, I grew up around hiphop, my father even does a lil rapping on the side but that’s besides the point. Im am really going to miss DMX, he has my heart broken right now. R.I.P. warrior, I ain’t forgetting you at all it’s always the ones you never expect to die, that die. I’ve learned so much from you, DMX. You turned me gangsta, you made me hard and tough, but with a lil heart. If Tupac and Biggie still got beef, hopefully they don’t make you lose yo mind up in there. R.I.P.
