Okay, so it's ranting time.
I read this novel named "it ends with us" by Colleen Hoover. It's about abusive relationships. My friend Sibal recommended it to me, and Sibal, if you're reading this I'm forever grateful to you for recommending this story. I'm serious.
Back to the book-please, please read it. It's available on zlibrary, all you have to do is search zlibrary on Google, search the book name in the website, and download it. Read it, because we all need to learn what the book says. Most of us are girls around the age 14-20, and I want all of us to know how important it is to not put up with abuse. How important it is to never forgive someone for treating you like that, even if the rest of the moments with them are perfect. It's the love that hurts. It's the love we have for them that hurts the most, because we don't want to accept that they could do smt like this to us. But if they're abusive, there's no excuse. No matter what problems they're facing, no matter what was the cause of the fight, it will never be justified for them to raise a hand on you. And it's not just the physical abuse. It's the emotional abuse too. It's the way they make you feel worthless. It's the way they make you feel like you don't deserve any better. Do not believe it. Do not, for even a second, believe that you deserve to be abused. Also, even though abusive relationships aren't that common, there are behaviour in most teenage relationships that are not acceptable. They don't get to ask for your social media passwords. Even if you have nothing to hide, do not share your passwords with them. Do not sacrifice your privacy for love. Do not let them tell you who you get to be friends with. Do not let them make you think like you can't achieve smt. Do not let anyone tell you that you're not capable of smt.
I think I've ranted more than enough.
