Happy Aro-spec Awareness week!!!!!!!!!

So the teacher managing the school SAGA(sexuality and gender acceptance) club suggested and approved of selling customizable pronoun buttons for this year's Pride fundraiser, and I was like, "HECK YEAH"
          And then I learned that the reason we didn't sell them last year was because the former principal didn't approve of them.
          Anyways, that's it.

Ok, so I've previously discussed that my high school is pretty accepting of LGBTQIA2S+ identities. Well, today we had an advent mass, and I got my first taste of a transphobic priest. Whoop. He said, and I quote: "You girls(first red flag) always want to be different these days. You're dressing differently, colouring your hair, getting piercings, getting tattoos, changing your clothes, changing your GENDER...". There was a collective shock in the audience though, so that priest better not be coming back. If he does, I am SO wearing my Pride pins to mass.

So I was the club rep for the Sexuality and Gender Acceptance club today at my school club fair, and then this older teacher walked up, and I got all nervous, because even though my school is generally accepting, you really have to be more cautious with the older teachers. Anyways, the teacher walked up, read our poster board, and told us that he wished that they had a club like ours back when he was in school. 
          Totally tried to keep calm, but was secretly screaming in joy on the inside.

Just finished reading The Song of Achilles. No regrets. Is it the dark haired klutz and Blond jock trope all over again. Yup. Am I ever gonna get sick of that trope? Absolutely not. Also, the writing in that book is incredibly beautiful.
