Hi
This is Aditya Mahajan,
As an aspiring author on Wattpad, I'm constantly navigating the delicate balance between excitement and nervousness. Each chapter I upload feels like a piece of my soul laid bare for the world to see. I pour my heart into crafting characters and weaving plots that I hope will resonate with readers.
I'm eager for validation, hoping that each read and comment signifies someone connecting with my story. But there's also a fear of rejection, of my work slipping into obscurity among the countless other stories on the platform.
Every update brings a flurry of emotions - anticipation, anxiety, and a glimmer of hope. Will this be the chapter that captures readers' imaginations? Will they eagerly await the next installment, or will my story fade into the background?
I remind myself to be patient, knowing that building a readership takes time. I try to stay active in the Wattpad community, engaging with fellow writers and readers, seeking feedback, and offering support in return.
Despite the uncertainties, I hold onto the passion that drives me to write. I cling to the belief that my story has the power to touch hearts and minds, to transport readers to new worlds and evoke emotions they never knew they had.
With each word I write, I inch closer to my dream of becoming a published author. And even on the toughest days, I hold onto the hope that somewhere out there, my story is making a difference to someone, one read at a time.
Preferred genre: Dystopia, Sci-fi, Thrillers (not the crime ones), fantasy
