Saturday's Lady is completely finished!
A couple notes on the very last chapter-- the song linked is the song Emma sings, which absolutely brings me to tears every single time I hear it. The song is in Irish Gaelic, but if you follow the link or look up the lyrics there's translations.
Next are a few spoilers so read at your own risk, but I didn't feel like making an authors note chapter as it really kinda ruins the mood:
The last chapter takes place AFTER Emma's wedding but I didn't want to write out another wedding because a) I literally just wrote Anne's b) I didn't think it would really advance the plot and didn't know how to write it, and c )I wanted to keep her relationship as the subplot, because the real conflict is with her identity and her father and I wanted to focus on that.
Thank you for reading and your feedback!! It's really bittersweet to leave the MacEilans behind, because I've been writing them for so long, but all good things must come to an end, I suppose.
Best wishes and lots of love,
          Megan

I'm only planning on writing ONE MORE chapter of Saturday's Lady!! I can't believe it took me this long to finish it, but it's almost there *wipes away tear* and I hope it can be the ending you all deserve.
Please, PLEASE point out loose ends. I don't want to leave anything accidentally unanswered!!
There's only three more chapters to post and I'm getting very emotional, so I'll write them as soon as I can without breaking down!

My new rule is that I constantly have to have a buffer of two chapters written before I can post one. I really don't know why Saturday's Lady is coming back so easily (hopefully this won't jinx it) but I absolutely will not argue with it. Happy reading and please comment your thoughts! There's a fascinating new development (if you haven't figured it out already)!!!

I have commitment issues so I told myself I couldn't start posting a story unless I wrote it ALL out, so I didn't have an abandoned project (sorry, Saturday's Lady). Anyways, the whole story's up now and it's bit different from some stuff I've done before; I've been reading a lot of folktales and decided to use them. I've got another short story to edit so I might get to that later! Cheers!

@mommywolf2 The nice bit about Idyllwilde is that it's really a short story collection, not a whole novel, just all with the same setting. Saturday's Lady... I hit a nasty block with it and have absolutely no idea where to go with it (I made the mistake of not outlining it when I actually had the idea to write it years ago, oops), but I have gotten a lot of questions so I'll try to work it out!!

Will Idyllwild or Saturday’s Lady ever be finished?

Man, it's been a while.
While writing has become more difficult, I've still done some of it and will hopefully get inspired to do more. Keep an eye out!
(Also, not having been on here for about a year and a half and then returning is throwing me off. The new layout is strange and I don't really like it!)

@accidental_roses Loll right? I haven't actually had much free time though. One of my jobs is considered essential, so I've been still going to that, and the other involves teaching, so I did that over video until we finally had our last class on Tuesday. *flops on ground and blows raspberries* I'm ready to get a taste of this "quarantine" everyone's talking about! XD

@autumn_sunfire We all thought "hey, quarantine, we'll be in our houses for a while, it'll be a great time to get reading done!" and then NOBODY did, lol. We all just watched Netflix.

@CelticWarriorQueen17 good to know I'm not alone, lol. But the story planning feature is definitely cool. I'll try it out at some point.

Hello everyone!
I've come up with my New Year's resolution: to be more honest, more open, and most of all, not to be afraid of sharing my beliefs (both political and religious). I've written a lot of papers and thoughts about a whole lot of issues and will publish a great deal of them, I think.
See, the political climate here in the United States is turbulent at best and violent at worst. We're seeing rising absolutism, nepotism, sexism, racism... and I want to counter it.
So, unpopular as this may make me, I'll be far more politically charged from now on. Read On Being if you feel so inclined; I'd really like your comments, your feedback... and if nothing else, I love a good debate.
          Happy New Year!
