AD ASTRA ANNOUNCEMENT: Hi all, and happy Saturday. I am excited to announce that I will begin publishing weekly chapters of Per Aspera, the sequel to Ad Astra, on August 9, 2024. 
          
          I know that this is probably later than some of you expected. I will admit that I have been struggling with writer's block and was facing some mental health challenges earlier this year, which has unfortunately delayed my writing process. For the sake of transparency, please know that when I post a chapter on Wattpad, it is not the first, nor even the second draft, but usually a third/fourth draft. I have found writing most of my novel before publishing to be most effective in delivering the best content I can to my audience, which is why there are often long waits in between novels. The extra time allows me to work out any kinks and edit the story to my liking. There is the possibility I may speed up my writing process enough to post sooner, but I don't want to make any promises! 
          
          So please look forward to Per Aspera this summer! I know you have all been so patient in waiting for the sequel, and I hope the wait will be worth it. I promise that I am trying to deliver the best conclusion to this story that I can. As always, I appreciate your support, and know that even if I am not actively publishing on Wattpad right now, I am still actively seeing your votes and comments <3

I started reading As Astra because it’s the name of a song I did this school year for choir and decided I should read it. I loved it and look forward to the sequel Per Aspera.

Hi! I'm currently reading your book autumn leaves and teenage dreams and I started reading it yesterday and now I'm almost done. Anyways, I just want to say thank you for writing this beautiful story. I had so much fun reading it and it's for sure one of the best coming of age story I had read in years. So I’ve been keeping a little secret… I’m so excited to announce that “Can You Hear the Ocean?” made the shortlist for the 2023 Wattys! I’ve been writing on Wattpad for over 10 years, and while I’ve consistently been submitting stories every year, I never imagined the day that I would finally get some recognition from the Wattys! Thank you all so much for your love and support on the story and for continuing to inspire me to write each day. There’s no guarantee I will win anything, but at the very least I want to thank you all for helping me make it onto the shortlist! That’s such a huge accomplishment given the magnitude of entries.
