Hi there,

I'm Advance4ever. After 9 years of being absent, I returned to the Advanceshipping fandom to hone my storytelling and writing skills. Luckily, in 2022 I managed to find my footing and found time to enjoy the things I loved. After I found my footing in adulthood, I rediscovered my passion for writing and began to have a stream of creative ideas once again. That was only the first catalyst to get me to come back though.

The second catalyst was receiving a message through my Outlook from one of the FF writers who inspired me to start here 12 years ago. I remember I initially messaged them asking them to complete one of my favorite AdvanceShipping fanfics of all time when I first joined fanfiction.net and never got a response...until last year. I no longer cared for the incomplete fanfic, but their disregard for the story itself left me thinking about how I left readers hanging with my story. I began to feel that leaving AW: Black or White incomplete was not the ending the story deserved. However, one last catalyst occurred that pushed me to come back.

In March 2023, Ash Ketchum and Pikachu became world champions and their story was completed. The culmination of 25 years of storytelling led to one of the most epic fights I had ever seen in Pokemon anime. This left me feeling sad and joyful for a character whose story significantly impacted my own childhood. I rewatched all of the most important episodes of Ash's story that led to him becoming champ. Rewatching Ash and Pikachu grow from Kanto all the way through Journeys inspired me to finish Ash, May, and Pikachu's tale. Now I am here.

I'm currently working on some new stuff, but I hope you enjoy "One Love, One Heart" & "Man in the Mirror" meantime!
