kara watched aspen in peyton’s arms, a loving smile on her lips. she loved that little girl more than anything in the whole world. but even though that was true, the woman was still tired and was appreciative of this small break she was getting. her eyes scanned over peyton’s face, watching the other carefully. she could tell it wasn’t fine, but she wouldn’t push it. “it’s been alright, we’ve just been running errands today, trying to get some things done.”
