Your own righteousness won't take you to heaven!
No matter how many mountains you climb, how many times you sprinkle the water of the national river on your head, how much food sacrificed to idols you eat, how many goats or lambs you sacrifice, how many times you wash your face with water that 'you' consider holy, you won't go to heaven just bc of doing those awkward things.
The only way to heaven is Jesus as he said, "I'm the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
I got this verse this morning and I'm sure it's for me and all of us as it says, "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among people by which we must be saved."—Acts 4:12.
For God has provided the world with no alternative for salvation. The name alone of Jesus can give you salvation. God doesn't want you to boast in front of Him about your 'deeds' for no human can do it. God opposes the arrogant but to humble, He gives grace.
I've noticed that people nowadays are so haughty that they won't receive Jesus. They don't want to bow before Him but they should know He's the only one who'd make their knees tremble and give up! At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He is the Lord.
Surely, when He will come to judge the world, people will bow and tongues will stutter but why should they wait for that moment? It'll be the day of great judgment. Escape the wrath of God if you're wise enough.
Believe in the sacrifice of Jesus that he lived, died, and was raised from the dead. Jesus is God and bc He loves us all, He came and walked among His own creation. Could you believe that? The Lord who keeps the world over the span of His palm humbled Himself and descended among His people to die for all. That's why His name was exalted above all names. In the name of Jesus, we receive salvation.
Believe in Him because He loves you.
I had to write it and I got reminded of it five times and the fifth time, I didn't want to ignore it.
I've seen that people don't even why salvation is important. Some people are so carnal that they have no concern about their souls or spirits.
As I shared my goal with a girl, telling her that I wish to save souls from going to hell by telling them the good news aka the Gospel, she was like, Why do you care?" And I was deeply shaken by seeing her ignorance that she really doesn't care about her soul. I was like, WHAT?
Even I was afraid of hell even when I wasn't baptized in the Holy Spirit!
Why people aren't afraid of going to hell? I'm not scaring anybody but don't you care about your souls? Life on earth is a speck of dust while eternity is like a never-ending wilderness. Do you get the difference? This life on earth is only a maximum of 120 years old. But your life in hell or heaven is your destiny! There you'll stop, dear.
In heaven, you'll see the face of God while in hell, there's pain, fire, darkness, and worms.
I have a lot to share but I'll share with you the good news that now, you can get salvation and it's free.
Believe in the son of God, Jesus. Believe that he came, lived, died, and was raised from the dead on the third day. Just like him, those who believe in him will rise from the dead. The only way to heaven is Jesus alone as he said, "I'm the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." The Father is in heaven and Jesus is the way.
So believe him. He loves you and cares about you. By dying on the cross, he's taken all your sins!
Believe in him.
@elodiezielle no wonder. I lose followers whenever I post about Jesus on my board lol. I feel bad for them. If not me, I wish they find someone else to share the Gospel with them
This morning I was reminded of something amazing!
It was when one afternoon I remembered a girl & the injustice being done to her. I started talking to God about her & suddenly I felt heaviness troubling my chest. I begin to weep for her for her life was ruined after marrying a man 50+while she was just a teen. He was a rapi*t and no doubt he'd have taken advantage of her,too. Who knows?
I begin to pray for girls like her, to women & to old ladies. I can ask many things for them but the most amazing can be; if I pray for their spirits and souls to be get & they can have eternal life.
After that, I got up and thanked Him. The same evening, I was with my friend & we saw a lady who was talking to someone over the phone. My friend told me that the Holy Spirit was guiding her to share the Gospel with her.
I was reluctant. Bc she looked dangerous and rude and was busy, ofc. I was like, Really?
She told me, Yeah! The Holy Spirit wants us to share the gospel with her. Now c'mon!
Though I wasn't even willing, we went to her and started telling her about Jesus,that how much He loves & wants to save her soul & the spirit.
I thought she wasn't even goin' to listen to us but what she told us after what shocking!
She started crying & told us about her life. She was the second woman in her husband's life & wasn't being treated well but she believed Jesus and said, Yes, I'm ready to believe Him He's real God. Bc she was going through very bad moments & honestly, when you break, your eyes open. She knew who could save her.
I was so glad that we went to her & I totally forgot that I even prayed before leaving my house. But just look at it! How amazingly He answers our prayers!
It was then almost a week passed when He reminded me that I prayed and it gave Him access to show us a miracle. Wow. Praise God!
I saw Him working another time and even now I get to hear the answers of my prayers.
Oh, He's so loving & kind!
So the way it was when Jesus came.
Those people who considered themselves righteous were seeking a chance to kill Him. While the sinners and the tax collectors were welcoming Him wholeheartedly. They invited Him for dinner and loved to listen to Him talking about the kingdom of heaven. Who goes to heaven then? The oppressed ones, the sinners, the tax collectors. Bc even if they sinned, they knew within themselves that they were wrong but they knew that no righteous deed could save them. They needed forgiveness, not a trip to mountains or a few drops of some cold water. It was in Jesus so they believed Him and followed Him, leaving all what they had and distributed their wealth among poor people.
Jesus tells a parable; there was a Pharisee who came to the temple of God. He thanked God said that he's a good man and he always gives 1/10th of his income and the first fruits of his field to the temple of God. He fasts and prays for hours.
But there was a tax collector who entered the temple,too. He knew he was wrong and in that huge guilt, he couldn't look up towards God or say anything. He just said that he was sorry for everything and he just needs His forgiveness. He said that he isn't good and a sinful man but God, being merciful and compassionate, can forgive him.
Now Jesus declared that the tax collector went home forgiven! But the Pharisee received no forgiveness (not bc God didn't want to forgive him but only bc that Pharisee needed NO forgiveness. In his own eyes, he was a righteous person). Well, such people are already guilty bc of being haughty.
I felt sorry for that woman bc I always pity them. Women have to go through a lot. From her childhood to the moment she's old (I saw the situation of my granny when my grandpa died). But I'm really happy that she was broken enough to know who can save her.
There are some people who think they need no repentance bc they're are righteous enough to go to heaven. But there are some people too who are broken by this world. This world has snatched a lot from them and they're left with nothing. They're so oppressed and in a hurry to end their lives that they only need one chance to see the truth and they know in their hearts that one ray of hope can make them alive. They have nothing to lose so when God enters their lives, they receive Him wholeheartedly. In pain, they seem to see the truth. Their flesh has lost battles in this world and honestly, when you die in flesh, you see the Spirit! That's a jackpot in those people's lives.

This morning, the thoughts about God's greatness and mercifulness were coming to my mind and I realised that before Jesus came, those who were dead in spirit, had to die in flesh, too. The corruption was too much and God could easily wipe us out from the face of the earth. Very easily. And I don't think God lacked people who would follow Him. God could actually call up His righteous people and destroy the whole world in one go just to send all the souls into hell.
But He saw it better to come into the world, take the sin of it, die on the cross and get raised on the third day.
I was like, Why? He wants "everyone" to repent. He didn't only like Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Elijah and David. No, He loves the entire world. He could easily be happy among those people who literally and hungrily searched for Him. He has ten thousands times ten thousands of angels in heaven. They worship Him all the time. He has everything. He's rich in everything. What was the need of dying for all mankind? What's in us. Us; dirt, mud, grass.
We're corrupted, carnal, abuse each other, hate each other, we aren't happy when someone prospers, we envy, we're ignorant, we kill, we're immoral, we carry blood on our hands and heads, we're full of darkness while He's light, He can't even bear to look at something that's wrong and we make fantasies shamelessly as we think nobody is watching us but He does. We're so spiritually blind that we can't even behold the face of the One Who created us (that was the saddest realization ever I've come across). Yet He chose to come and die for us.

I may sound stupid to you all but I need to give this message;
Please, dear readers, pay heed to my words. The world was formed by one God. There's only one God and nothing can stand before Him in comparison. Not even the statues of silver, gold or clay, wood. He made the earth and us, but the world got corrupted and nobody was saint enough to bear the judgement if God would come to judge the world in the end.
So He gave His son Jesus. He died for us. For all mankind. There's no discrimination before Him. Everybody is equal for Him and He died for all. He took our sins and freed us from its slavery.
Now that He is coming soon, to judge the world, believe in Him and be baptized in the name of Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only son. So that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life."
In Jesus, there's life bc, "He's the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through him."
Except for the name of Jesus, there's no name in heaven, under the heaven or on the face of the earth, through which you receive salvation. Salvation is in Jesus's name alone.
It's a gift to all mankind. Receive it. Don't remain blind. Ask God to open your eyes. Don't remain shut even after seeing the weird things happening around you. It's the beginning of all of it. It's a sign that Jesus is coming soon. And this time, he's not coming like a lamb but like a lion. Not as a sacrifice but as a judge. He'll judge the world bc He is God.
He loves you, don't forget that. That's why He chose cross. Don't make fun of his love. Don't take it lightly.

@And--here-we-are you believe God, then why do you write what's against God's commandment? God made a woman for the first man, not a man for man. This is wrong. People are what the Bible says about them, not what their mind says under peer pressure. We're God's sons and daughters and we're created in His image. What makes people think they can change their sexuality and do what's abomination before God? Jesus never said He supported gays and lesbians but yes, He loves them so much that He wants to save them! He wants to rescue from this thinking. Don't use your amazing talent of writing in something that's wrong. Not just you, but those who read your books believe what 'you' want them to believe. Do what God says. God loves you. He watches over you. Your face is engraved on His palm, you know? Every moment His eyes are on you. You're the pupil of His eye! He gave His life for you. Don't grieve His Holy Spirit.
