69 Days Remastered underway! So excited to finish it up so I can share the nicer version of one of my favourite works ❤️ (that being said, I’m only on Chapter 3….) (Re-writing is hard as heck)

The pressure of thinking my story is nothing as I read others’ and the insecurities begin to skyrocket like a freaking G6 — and then when I look at my own draft, it just gets…. Bland

I have been writing for some time. And through endless supports from a lot of people, I became confident, and have considerably improved (I hope).

I’ve been seeing people putting my stories on lists like “this sucks” or “don’t read this” and anything of that sort. I swear to God I give no f**ks about it because the amount of people hating them vs the amount of people loving them has a huge difference.

But I worry about those who have just started to write and see their books in that kind of list… dear humans, don’t you think it’s a bit rude to do that?

I saw someone writing on the reader’s wall asking why were their books in the list. They were clearly broken-hearted.

You might squash someone’s will to continue their passion of writing. What do you get from doing that? Feed your ego? You can put all my stories in such lists but don’t put other people’s stories. They deserve so much more and have potential to grow.

To aspiring authors, even if you see your books in those uneducated lists, please don’t give up. They are just a bunch of inferior brats trying to prove something trivial. Keep writing and keep dreaming! I’ll be here to mentally support all of you!!

Have a nice day ahead! (Except to those who crush other people’s spirits)

Preach! Say it louder to the people at the back! It's nice that someone is finally voicing out this issue at hand because it is becoming quite concerning to see, especially when it is the shy first-time writers who get this sort of treatment. I also had my fair share of people who had placed my books on their reading list but I didn't really care much about it since I acknowledged the flaws of my creation that was made during my pre-teens (that and I'm quite on/off in writing rn due to my hectic sched in med school). However, not everyone can handle this kind of treatment as I do so seeing this supportive and encouraging message is quite uplifting! I hope people seeing this feels the same as well!

            Keep going, champ!!!
