i hate looking back on my writing. i hate it so much. and this self-hatred, this… revolt towards one’s own work isn’t unique. it’s experienced by so many. who am i to think i’m special? like a perpetual loop will i too despise what i’ve just written. and yet, regardless of what i just said, i find myself yearning to look back many a time more.

@PERISTALNTH thank you. it’s stressful to make sense of things when i feel my own resources and perceptions are unstable. insight from others comes sparse for me, so i greatly appreciate the thought-provoking sentiment. i can assure you i’ll be back to re-read your reply, as well as simultaneously brood over what i have yet to figure out.

@rottenpulp I guess it depends on what feelings are propagating through a particular poetry or writing of yours. It is always different for everyone even for its own creator, that's what each piece of art does . Inculcating many feelings rather than one. That's the beauty of it. Also for someone having Alan Watts quote in their bio, you're already very sobered high. "Jireh you're enough"
