although it’s another repeat of a to write love on her arms (twloha) blog submission, i thought i’d publish it to btsc for the hell of it + i’m in the process of sifting through ideas and concepts that i’m trying to avoid being too similar to one another. you can read the entry here on wattpad: https://my.w.tt/WhAnc7zLZV

or, to read the twloha blog post itself, visit: https://twloha.com/blog/a-hospital-kind-of-joy/

in the meantime, i’ll be appreciating the encouragement and support that’s being given to this project! we’re almost at one hundred reads, which is a milestone, however small.

          	all my love to you.

i come bearing gifts! well, entries, if that’s anything present-worthy. this piece is entitled “the t word” and can be read here: https://my.w.tt/BsKF8STPKV

a tidbit: the tail end of the essay is inspired by a daughter lyric from their track “human” on their if you leave album; it reads, “and despite everything, i’m still human / and i think i’m dying here”.

i recommend the artist themselves (they’ve been my go-to indie chill vibe since middle school), and the entirety of the album – both mean a great deal to me. i hope it will for you, too.

no entries for almost a week and i’m back and better than ever! while i’ve been inspired, it’s been challenging to write everything i want to concisely and meaningfully. nevertheless, here’s a brief poem for an ironic circumstance that you can read here: https://my.w.tt/rrBIs7LLAV

keep on the lookout for additional uploads within the coming days!

have a fantastic rest of your week! you’re already halfway through; what an accomplishment!

cruising along with the entries to btsc! you can read my to write love on her arms (twloha) essay alternatively titled “being a girl who likes girls who likes girls” here: https://my.w.tt/j7Su3SgpqV

through this, i journeyed through the previous years of childhood and adolescence of coming to terms with my sexuality and mental health, and what that’s meant for me as an individual. this will always be one of my favorite pieces i’ve published; you can read it at twloha’s blog here, too: https://twloha.com/blog/depression-acceptance-and-being-a-girl-who-likes-girls/

for my lgbtq+ readers especially: i hope this inspires you and reminds you that you’re not alone – this community is here for you through it all.

another entry to btsc has been published! it’s lighter in content than the previous one, but full of emotion nevertheless; find it here: https://my.w.tt/fjTLIY0WlV

headlights details an experience with romance and relationships that i’ve had in the past, and the sort of impending doom you feel when it begins to tumble downhill.

i published an entry to btsc earlier this morning that was entitled “a hospital kind of joy”, and detailed the bittersweet experience of happiness in a psychiatric facility. i received news after this that it’s being published to to write love on her arms’ (twloha) blog (which makes me two-for-two!), and as a result, had to take it down for editing, etc.

i wanted to publish something in the same vein of mental health, however—and i’m doing this tentatively. so, without further ado, feel free to read “an ode to my self-harm scars” here (major trigger warning for obvious reasons, though): https://my.w.tt/DRzWeM4lhV

at the end of the entry, i list resources for anybody who may need help with recovering from self injury. if you’re one of these people, i send you all my love, comfort, and healing. my messages are *always* open. we can fight this fray together.

          take care of yourselves.

at last, i’ve published chapter one of twdy! you can read, vote for, and comment on it here: https://my.w.tt/Tn0Fyd9YbV

i’ve spent my writing time lately fine-tuning this introductory chapter and aspiring to ensure that it’s “just right”—only, with any kind of writing, that can be an insurmountable obstacle. nevertheless, i think i’ve produced something worth reading; i’m proud of this world and these characters that i’m building.

i’ll be posting links to pinterest aesthetic/vision boards for btsc and twdy soon! until then, enjoy!

the past handful of days have been creatively busy as a bumblebee, what with the publication of the dedications and epigraphs of this will destroy you + between the shower curtains, and the first prose entitled “peanut butter” of the latter.

i do hope you take a peek at everything i’m working on, and that one or both projects strikes your fancy.
