Hello there, I'm Alexandra! Welcome to my corner of the internet. I'm the incorrigible love child of Fanny Price from "Mansfield Park" and Josephine March from "Little Women", which essentially means I'm shy and awkward and treat my writing like it's my only personality trait. My favourite writers are Edgar Allan Poe, Jane Austen, and Robert Louis Stevenson.

Aside from writing, I love history! My historical areas of interest are royal and military history from 1700 to 1900 (with a bit of wiggle room on either end), with a special affinity for the members of the House of Saxe-Coburg and the House of Romanov. I'm the sort of person who gets annoyed when something is described as "Victorian" when it's clearly Georgian or Edwardian.
